Daily Salah & Jumu'ah at Shahjalal Masjid
Salah (prayer) is often referred to as the second pillar of Islam. Salah is obligatory worship and must be performed five times a day at prescribed times.
These five times are dawn (Fajr), immediately after noon (Zuhr), mid-afternoon (‘Asr), sunset (Maghrib), and early night (Isha’). Shahjalal Masjid holds daily Salah five times a day.
The congregational Salah (Prayer) held every Friday just after noon in place of Dhuhr with two jamaats.
